About SWACM

SWACM is an organization formed for the purpose of providing continuing education in clinical microbiology.

SWACM is comprised of individuals primarily from Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Our meetings and workshops are held in a variety of locations. The majority of our members live within a Six-state area comprised of Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.

SWACM Will Provide Continuing Education by:

 

• Conducting a scientific meeting each year that will include symposia, workshops, poster sessions and commercial exhibits.
• Providing reduced registration fees to members.
• Publishing a valuable and informative newsletter.
• Sponsoring additional Workshops within the SWACM geographic area throughout the year. (We hope to eventually offer online classes and will keep you informed as we progress.)
